    Choosing a room or suite

Stoney Nakoda Resort & Casino has 100 rooms and suites. Two-Queen rooms, King rooms, Junior Suites and Jetted Tub Suites each come with a mountain view or a valley view with the sunrise. A Junior Suite adds an electric fireplace. The Jetted Tub Suite has a separate bedroom with its own 43-inch TV. Its living room holds a two-person jetted tub and a 55-inch TV.

Two other suites are booked by phone, so call 403-881-2830 to ask about availability. A One Bedroom Suite has a large living room with a couch and a fireplace. It also holds a lounge chair with ottoman and a 47-inch TV. In a Family Suite, the separate bedroom has a king bed and its own bathroom with shower. The living room adds a queen bed, a pull-out sofa bed and a fireplace.

    What every room has

Every room and suite comes with high-speed Wi-Fi, a security safe, a 47-inch TV, a mini fridge and a microwave. Please leave your own cooking appliances at home. Apart from the refrigerator the hotel provides, the house rules do not allow them. That includes coffee makers, kettles, hot plates, toaster ovens and rice cookers. For a hot drink, self-serve coffee and tea are complimentary throughout the casino.

Guests of legal age may bring their own alcohol. It stays in the room, though, not in the lobby, the halls or other public areas.

Resort guests can use the heated indoor pool year-round at no extra charge. It has a waterslide and a hot tub, and it is open 9 am to 11 pm. Children aged 12 and under must be supervised at all times, here and everywhere else in the hotel. Plan a late swim around the 11 pm close, since hotel quiet hours begin at the same time.

The fitness centre has free weights, a stationary bike, a treadmill and yoga mats. Ask the front desk for its hours.

    Arriving and leaving

At check-in at Stoney Nakoda Resort & Casino, have an ID card, passport or temporary residence card ready. The hotel takes a damage deposit of up to $500, by credit card or cash. It comes back after departure, once the room has been checked. The check-in time is not published, so call the front desk to confirm it. Your visitors must register at the front desk.

Check-out is at 11:00 am. If you want the room longer, tell reception; any extension depends on availability and is charged at the normal rate. Bags can wait in the luggage room for up to 30 days when space allows, at your own risk. Pets stay in a limited number of rooms, at $25 per pet per night and no more than two per room.
